These chopsticks are extra long and thick, perfect for cooking stir fries and scrambled eggs. There are two sizes, 12" and 14". I made them out of sapele (an African wood that is often compared to mahogany), walnut (a beautiful dark wood) and cherry (slightly lighter and redder than the sapele). All the wood is selected for straight grain, and the final pieces are sanded fine and coated with food-safe tung and citrus oils. I take pride in producing beautiful, well crafted items from salvaged wood. These particular chopsticks was made from scraps discarded at local woodworking shops around Boston, MA.
