These wooden spoons are meant to last – they are sturdy and durable while still feeling light and delicate in your hand. I carve them to have a gentle curve in the handle and a well porportioned bowl, while keeping them thin enough for scraping and sauteeing. Whether you’re using them for cooking, eating or coffee stirring, these spoons are tools that are meant to be the workhorse in your kitchen.

I offer three sizes for a range of different uses:
7″ spoon – meant for tasting and eating
10″ spoon – ideal for sauteeing in small-medium pans
13″ spoon – great for a range of cooking and baking

CARE OF OILED WOOD

Hand wash only! I use a mix of all-natural tung oil, citrus, beeswax and mineral oil to create a durable and food-safe finish. Wooden utensils are sturdy, but they should be treated with respect. They should never be put in the dishwasher, and excessive hot water or soaking will make the finish wear off faster. Ideally, they should be hand washed with lukewarm water and toweled dry. Over time, if the wood appears dry, you may want to apply a food-safe wood conditioner. Learn more here or purchase my wood conditioner.

Local pickup is always free! If you choose to pick up your order, I will contact you when it is complete, and we can arrange a pickup at my workshop in Napanoch, NY.
